The unit “Group Liquidity and Market Risk Management” is responsible for the governance of market and liquidity risk of Erste Group. In this function the unit assures regulatory compliance and provides steering relevant risk reporting to senior management and other stakeholders. The “Banking Book Risk Management” team assesses, measures and monitors liquidity and interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB). This includes setting, controlling and monitoring of risk limits as well as reporting and further development of the risk management framework.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Work in a team on the key risk management processes relating to Liquidity, IRRBB and Credit Spread Risk in the Banking Book (CSRBB) – including risk identification, measurement, stress testing and reporting
  • Analyze the market and liquidity risk position of Group units, monitor limits, escalate limit breaches and monitor mitigation measures by closely working together with colleagues within Austria and CEE
  • Actively follow the latest regulatory developments or requirements towards the banks (e.g. ESG risk)
  • Continuously improve existing methods and processes to satisfy business and regulatory needs
  • Participate in broader risk initiatives such as ICAAP, Group Risk Reports or projects.

Dein Profil

  • First working experience in Liquidity or Market Risk Management, FH or university degree (Master) with focus on finance
  • Solid IT and data management skills, including basic SQL and advanced Excel
  • You work in a solution-oriented way and you enjoy mastering challenges together in a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, German skills are of advantage
