The Group Sustainability Officer (GSO), together with the Group ESG Office, develops the sustainability strategy and is responsible for all of the Group’s strategic sustainability agendas. It develops central ESG guidelines, defines ESG governance and financing rules. It also ensures transparency on the results of Erste Group’s sustainability measures and the local ESG Offices.

Deine Aufgaben

Report to the CSO and – as key member of the ESG Group Office – contribute to the development and implementation of the Climate & ESG Strategy and the Group’s transformation
Work cross-functionally: lead, coordinate and integrate sustainability projects and opportunities
ESG disclosure with particular focus on climate, aligned with global standards and frameworks and the implementation of the CSRD, EU- Taxonomy and SFDR
Contribute to ESG rating inquiries, analyze of scores, action plan with priorities, timeline and submission to relevant rating agencies
Keep up to date with ESG trends and latest climate-related requirements and market developments
Researches and regularly benchmarks, monitore and provide feedback

Dein Profil

Bachelor degree in Environment, Sustainability, Finance, Business or related discipline
5+ years of relevant work experience in ESG, Climate or related field in sustainability and decarbonization
Working knowledge of financial principles, such as the UN Principles for Responsible Banking
Experience in delivering projects, programs and SBTi, GRI and annual report writing
Team-player with a keen interest in strategy work; pro-active, flexible, innovative, enjoys X-functional work

The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 44.567,– gross per year. But this is just a formality – we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
