IT Operations Lead (freelance) all genders

Strategy & Governance

• Provides strategic leadership and guidance at the executive level in critical areas of technology administration having institution, state-wide and/or national impact.
• Accountable for the smart EU teams (Insource/Outsource) regarding outcome of IT/Digital Operations and the Service Value (Services Fit for Purpose and Fit for Use).
• Directly engages with the Head of Business Engagement, Head of SW, Head of IT Infrastructure & Shared Operations, Head of CIO Office and Head of Data and their teams on topics pertaining to IT/Digital agenda and the Customer Value Journey.
• Oversees the various Service deliveries to Business Functions of IT Operational matter and ensure that maximum
  value Is perceived (Sufficient levels of Availability, Continuity, Integrity and Security).

Operations & Portfolio Management

• First priority: Acts, on behalf of and with the mandate of the CIO, to mitigate/intervene on any deviation to Operational Stability together with Inhouse teams or external Service providers.
• Run daily Operational Processes (Incident / Problem via Shopfloors with Team Op Leads from all teams) with focus on:
  1. Progress Incident Queues -L1, L1.5 and L2 across all teams and Vendors.
  2. Problem solving targeted at biggest pain points identified. Aim to increase resilience and availability of
     all IT landscape.
  3. Manage communication towards stakeholders via daily communications + run daily reports to CIO/smart EU and present a true holistic view of the status of our landscape
• Work together with Architecture to solve potential bottlenecks or system design flaws by addressing the most
  important ones first.
• Second priority – Work with process landscape and tooling to further optimize landscape and efficiency.

Development & Portfolio planning

• Third Priority: Works the Business Engagement team and Head of SW on accepting business Demand on IT/Digital and ensures that business requirements are developed also with an Operational aspect to ensure future Operational Stability.
