You will join an influential team of esports professionals to govern and operate Riot Games Esports ecosystems in EMEA.The internship is planned for 11 months on a 40h per week basis, with a start date of November, 1st 2022.Responsibilities

  • Support day to day operations of the EMEA Esports Rules & Compliance team across all our professional and semi-professional esports ecosystem within EMEA
  • Assist in handling investigations and disciplinary proceedings relating to infringements of Riot Games’ esports competitive regulations while ensuring their proper administration (including drafting memos and rulings, seeking additional evidence, archiving, organizing, managing procedural calendars, etc.)
  • Assist in drafting rules and policies across EMEA Riot esports as well as various governance and procedural documents
  • Assist projects that aim to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of Riot Games’ EMEA esports compliance program such as educational and training programs for internal and external stakeholders
  • You must feel comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, where rules and processes are continuously redefined in response to the ever changing product and player needs

Internship Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in Germany
  • Availability: 40 Hours per Week for 11 Months

Required Qualifications

  • Legal or paralegal education (preferably some experience in courts, arbitration, sports and/or esports organization)
  • Preferably experience in dealing with disciplinary or integrity matters within sports or esports
  • Highly organized and strong administrative skills
  • Critical and analytical thinking
  • Reading comprehension, written and oral communication along with attention to details are critical skills
  • English proficiency
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides & Google Sheets)
  • Familiar with Riot Games esports titles

Desired Qualifications

  • Past work or volunteer experience in esports or sports organization is a plus
  • Experience working within an international environment
  • Knowledge of the esports ecosystem in general as well as the EMEA esports ecosystem
