Deine Aufgaben

Rainbow Six Siege is the acclaimed first-person shooter franchise. Inspired by the reality of counter terrorist operatives across the world, Rainbow Six Siege invites players to master the art of destruction. Intense close quarters confrontations, high lethality, tactics, team play, and explosive action are at the center of the experience.

As Data Management Specialist (f/m/d), your role is to manage game data and make sure that dev teams and testers have access to the right content of the project at the right time.

Furthermore, you will be involved in data creation for new game items and in setting up game data for live deployment.

What you will do:

  • Manage data using in-house tools to make sure that dev teams have access to all game content needed to perform their work.
  • Perform on demand data changes necessary for testing or developing under specific scenarios.
  • Perform live activation/deactivation of features as needed for the project.
  • Support the QA team in the finding and reporting issues related to data configurations.
  • Create data for new items and item types required by the dev teams.
  • Set up data for deployment that will reach end-users across multiple platforms in the live environment.
  • Report and escalate outages or tooling issues impacting the team or project.

 

Dein Profil

What you bring:

  • Experience with database management/ configuration management.
  • A firm understanding of data dependencies, handling, and safekeeping.
  • Good knowledge of directories, permissions and configurations of groups/populations.
  • Experience working in IT or QA is preferred.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Open minded person with good communication skills who likes to take on responsibility.
  • Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience working on a live project is a plus.
  • Experience working with data automation and/or build deployment pipelines is a plus.
  • Knowledge of creating automated tests or scripting is a plus.
