Algorithm developer for smart glasses (f/m/div.)

In our optical engineering department with our brand-new electronics and laser laboratory we develop not only solutions for all-day-wearable smart glasses but also optical environmental sensors and many more. Together with a highly motivated and interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what is technically possible.

• As part of the agile software and algorithm engineering team, you model, simulate, develop, integrate, test, benchmark and optimize software algorithms to run on limited computational resources of embedded MCUs
• You translate use cases into signal processing problems, develop models for the problems, develop algorithms for the models
• You document, explain and present your solutions, review and challenge your teammates in open minded discussion to get the best solution for the given problem and help new colleagues to get on track
• You understand software as part of the complete hardware and software system
• You contribute to our technology roadmap, find new use cases and applications and generate patents
